Display Thursday – Symmetry

sym-me-try noun: regularity of form or arrangement.

I LOVE the photos of these children on the wall in this living room. Yes the images are the same size but the real symmetry comes from the balance between the subject being pushed far to the right side in one image and to the left in the other. Very yin and yang.

I love how the photos of this family flank the center of the family, mom and dad. Don’t feel restrained by typical sizing. There are many options of interesting configurations that create symmetry on your wall. The center photo is 42″ x 42″. Fill those walls!

Or there is always the standard grid. Easily done with the same frames in a pattern that works best for your space. I love that the lamps continue the symmetry on either side of the photographs.
