Fourth Picture in the Fourth Folder

Valerie tagged me on her blog post last week on photos. The game is this, look in your fourth folder (I didn’t have one so I sorta cheated, I’m VERY organized with my photos and I only had three folders in my Photo folder on my desktop) and then the fourth photo in that folder (I did use the fourth picture, but in the third folder).

Anyway, now that that’s out of the way, I’m not going to tag anyone but if you feel like experimenting I’d love to see your photos, seeing as how I love pictures.

This picture is of my friend Anne. It wouldn’t normally be on my computer but I’m making new business cards with my new logo and this will be on of the images that resides on ths back. I went to NYU for one semester back in 2004. It was an awesome experience, even if it did hold me back the rest of the time I was at BYU. Anne and I became really close, along with another woman Domenica. Unfortunately, I am horrible at keeping in touch with people and I haven’t spoken to her in years. She’s from Providence, raised atheist, and attended Brown. She is stunning and I loved photographing her. Once she let Domenica and I photograph her while she was sobbing over her loser ex-boyfriend who was beaing a total beast to her. It was the most intense photo shoot but it I got some really powerful images.

This photo is when I learned to use mixed lighting. Can you believe that was the view from our studio at school? A far cry from the HFAC studios… I miss you Anne! I hope you’re doing well!
