Hannah & Dick: Married! – Seattle Wedding Photographers
I described this wedding to someone as an “Uber DIY Bed and Breakfast Garden Party.” And I think it fits the bill perfectly! Who would have guessed when I gave away wedding photography in February this year that I would end up with the most amazing couple, ever.
Hannah and Dick are young and good looking and super duper fun. Below is evidence.
They are also incredibly in love. And I could tell that from the short chat we had via video chat after they won the contest. The day before the wedding I flew to Seattle and landed in a rain storm. I think every person involved in Hannah and Dick’s wedding prayed for sunshine because I total got sun burned! Who would have thought!? I was not prepared for such gorgeous weather, obviously.
The morning started with some clouds and mist, which was perfectly suited for our romantic session at the Cottage Creek Inn before their ceremony at the Seattle LDS Temple.
The sun opened up while they were in the temple and made for a bright reception full of family, friends and fun.
I was completely blown away by all the DIY projects that Hannah and her mother slaved over to personalize every aspect of the day. It really was incredible! I loved all the type writers! Make sure and check out the How To from yesterday so you can make those cute satin flowers too!
Thank you, Hannah & Dick for participating in my contest so I could photograph your wedding day. It was a joy to spend the day with you both. Here’s to many, many years of love and marriage!

We are overwhelmed by how well you captured the beauty of our wedding and the Northwest at it’s best. Its true what they say, if you wait an hour or so the sun will eventually show up. We feel you captured the flavor of everything perfectly. You are a very talented and generous Photographer. Thank you for capturing these moments in time so we can always remember the love that surrounded us on this very special day. Your photo make everything seem magical. Thank you so much for everything. Francee
Meg, when I looked at your work and how you portrayed our daughter, I did not see the little girl anymore; I must say that it has been easier to let her go. Scott
Francee and Scott,
Way to make a photographer cry! Thank you SO much for your kind words, I appreciate them immensely. I put my heart into each wedding I photograph and Hannah and Dick’s was no exception. I’m so grateful to have been a part of their wedding day!
Much love,
Meg
