Skylar: Las Vegas Desert Senior Portraits

When Skylar and I started off on our adventure to the desert, the first time, Alicia Keys song, “This Girl Is On Fire” started blasting from my speakers. “This is my jam this year. 2013 is my year,” I told her.

And it so is! I am so happy Skylar chose me to photograph her senior portraits! I love this girl. Like a lot. She actually assisted me on a wedding a couple years ago to see if it was something she would be interested in. It wasn’t, but it definitely helped me get to know this go-getter a lot more. She is incredibly loyal, gifted, and family oriented. I’m so proud of her for all of her accomplishments and cannot wait to see what she has in store for the world. She’s on fire too, my friends. We both are.

It’s apparent this shoot was on two different days, one completely cold and overcast, and the other, warm and sunny, not a cloud in the sky. Being that this beauty’s name is Skylar, blue skies were kinda….critical. So we did a second little shoot just for that. And it was totally worth it.
