The Dark Who?
On Saturday Sir Luke and I went to see “The Dark Knight” with some friends at the IMAX. If you already saw this movie in the theater and it wasn’t on IMAX, get back in your car and go to the nearest IMAX theater and watch it again. Two of our friends had already seen it but thought since the rest of us were going doing it they should too. And they didn’t regret it.
It was AWESOME. I had a perpetual “WHOAAA” face most of the movie. There are about 20 minutes, including one serious action scene, filmed in IMAX. Sir Luke said that they invented a whole new rigging system for the IMAX camera for the intense scenes because no one has used it in those situations before. It really was like we were in the movie.
To me this movie wasn’t really about Batman. The Joker stole the show, just like he stole everything else. Heath Ledger was incredible in his role. It’s so sad to think of all the movies he could have been in. Amazing.
