Wall of Love
1. The Faceted Couroucou by Carrie Marill. A gift from GayLynn and Kelly Johnson, my favorite wedding gift. It has been called beautifully morbid. I guess that’s what I like in my life, beautiful morbidity.
2. George Troutman by Quinn/Gorbott. I don’t know Quinn, but I read his blog. We know some of the same people, but it was still a little weird requesting one of his limited edition prints.
3. Panda by Charlie Crane. One of my first toys was a giant stuffed panda. It was giant to me then, but now it’s an average sized stuffed bear. It’s interesting what our memory tells us to remember and what is real.
4. Pillow by Anthropologie. I couldn’t find the exact pillow. Sir Luke picked it out when we went in for a peek before we headed to dinner a few weeks ago. It was on sale and too glorious to pass up. My husband has good taste.
5. 8mm Projector by Ampro. Sir Luke and I made a trip to DI and found this amazing piece of machinery for $15, which I talked down to $10 for faulty wiring on the plug, which Sir Luke promptly fixed when we got home. We took it to Los Angeles over Memorial Day to watch my Dad’s 8mm reels from the army as well as his family 8mm reels. It’s incredible to see my grandparents moving and living and being people.
6. Lack shelf by IKEA. We got our Lack shelf on our latest visit to Utah. I wandered around the entire store with my tights nearly halfway down my tush. I made it out to the parking lot and into the car but didn’t think to try and cover my unmentionables as I stripped off my tights. Woops.
You forgot to label the end table that Scott picked up for us in VA.
And the couch! Where’s it from? I love your wall of love. It could be straight out of domino. đŸ™‚
LOVE IT! it looks lovely.
Nicely done! I love “The Faceted Couroucou” print!
So are you saying you had some “plumbers cleavage” whilst wandering the store?
Popsicle
can you come decorate my apartment?
