All my troubles seemed so far away

Yesterday, was a good day. I awoke to a text at 7:30AM from across the country. My parents called at 8:30AM and Sir Luke brought me this glory at 9:30AM.

Waffles are delicious! Sir Luke knew I couldn’t eat this scrumptious delight without some of my mom’s homemade apricot jam. You need some in your life.

I actually caught Sir Luke riding his bike (I was out on an interview, and no it’s not going to work out) over to “the post office.” I found out the next day that he was ordering this lovely from Tiger Lily. They supplied my long stem red rose for Valentine’s Day as well.

I got to pick this gorgeous white tote from Target with some of our Monopoly money.

I couldn’t believe that Sir Luke spent his gift cards on two fantastic gifts. I’ve already listened to the Original Broadway Production of Xanadu about five times. He had to come and ask me how many more times I was going to listen to it today. What? I like it!

And hello! My So Called Life on DVD? Please, my life is now complete! But wait, there’s more! I had a scrumptious dinner at home to top it off. Five gold stars to you Sir Luke.

Thanks to all the well wishers. You are splendid.

YES! MY SO CALLED LIFE!!! just don’t relive freshman year too much 🙂 so glad you had a spectacular bday. i love you! and yes, blue lobster totally exists. i had no idea until i googled it. also, have you noticed on gmail how the right sidebar always comes up with links to stuff that corresponds to things you’ve sent in an email? it’s fun to try to trick them. like, for instance, type “wild tigets eat bamboo” in your subject line and see what comes up. this is a good game trish and i play when we’re both supposed to be working.
