Dreaming
Lisa remembers her dreams and looks up their different meanings. It’s pretty interesting but I can never remember my dreams well enough to look up their meanings.
Friday night I dream that I was going around with a group of aspiring photographers taking pictures of a bike race that was going on. We would wander around and then all of a sudden the bike race would I was befriended b a pregnant woman and her husband who were being stalked by some crazy girl who was obsessed with taking their picture. Would zoom by. the odd part was that we were in sand, so they couldn’t really zoom. But there were a lot of people in the race. I took pictures as people passed with my pregnant friend. I photographed a couple that was walking in the race. They turned and posed together with hands raised. When the crazy stalker girl finall caught up with us she popped out form behind a tree and started taking all sorts of photos of the pregnant woman. We went around the other side of the tree trying to escape, but were caught by her again. I looked at her sternly and said, There are two ways to photograph, like a real photographer or paparazzi. You are the paparazzi. She saw the light and was very apologetic. And the preggers woman and I went on our way.
It was bizarre because during this entire expedition I was searching for a couch as well. Trying to find the right couch to re-upholster. Those times when I was looking at couches was when Sir Luke would appear. But only then. I needed his opinion. Right after preggers and I left the craz girl I found the perfect couch with giant maroon plaid low arms and buttons on the back. It was pretty perfect. But Sir Luke didn’t have time to approve it before I woke up.
My interpretations:
Taking a photograph can represent wanting to remember something or enjoying a particular moment.
Pregnancy can mean a process or project somewhere in your life.
Couch has a few meanings: Rest or relaxation, which may mean you need more of it or you need to be more active, a relationship or communication in a relationship, your “alone time”when you’re by yourself or “out and about” on your own.
Bicycling could mean the way you’re “running your life” right now, or the way you have been recently
Sand stands for instabilities in your life. If you dream of looking at sand, you are wasting your time and energy on unsuccessful matters.
Interesting, very interesting.
Earth Hour
I don’t know how they are publicizing this but, I hadn’t heard anything about it until my mom sent it to me in an email.

Thanks Blogger!
I don’t know how this happened. I didn’t really get it at first.
It means that on March 24, 2008, 112 people looked at m blog. Whoa. 89 of them came from a Blogger.com referral. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
Don’t worry, it went back down to 35 the next day.
The Pack
I had my first pack meeting last night.
At one point I turned to Sir Luke and said, “Is this normal?”
“No.”
“Ok.”
This all while a father and son are “Wolfing” down a pie made of whip cream. This was done to commemorate the passing of the scout from the Wolf den into Bear den. It was pretty amazing. I’m sorry I don’t have pictures.
But you can bask in the glory of my father as a cub scout in the 1940s. How awesome is that?
And what about my Aunt Jan as a girl scout?
And how dapper is that three-piece suit my Great Grandfather George Nichol?
Save the Spiral
I don’t know why we’re thinking about drilling for oil in Utah when we’ve got oil in the Middle East. I mean really…
But seriously, we should be relying less and less on oil and more on our other natural resources like sun and wind and water. I want a hydrogen car.
Save Robert Smithson‘s “Spiral Jetty.” It’s funny because he constructed it with the intention that it would be washed away in the water. But with the incessant salt coating the rock and mud formation created a serious hold. I went out with my friend Jaquie in October of 2004 and thrashed my poor Fire on the way. My reccomendation would be to take a car that can handle off-roading better than a Honda.
Let’s preserve our artwork and our country. Keep that drill out!
