Mrs. MRS for SALE!
I got my Etsy.com shop up!
I am currently selling my mixed media collages made entirely from Popular Science magazines. I am pretty excited about how they came together.
Thanks to Sir Luke for all his help in my endless questions about what he thought of this or that. You’re great!
Take a gander and head on over to Etsy.com!
Happy Anniversay Parents!
At some point in my dating of Sir Luke I told my mother about some wonderfully romantic thing he had done. My mom retorted back with some comment about how romantic my dad was. I didn’t really see that. But then she commented, “Why do you think we got married on Valentine’s Day?” She had a point.
Every February fourteenth, growing up, I got a fancy balloon and a card from my pops. It was always more my parent’s Anniversary than anything else. I suppose that’s why I’ve never really thought much about the day. I love to show love on days like today!
So, cheers to you Dad!
I made these puppet people for my parents. Hopefully they get them before they read this post! Oh well!
Don’t mind the scary face on the guy
Happy 32nd Anniversary Parents! I love you both, immensely!
Savviest Mission Call Opening, Ever
My glorious friend, Lisa-Face got her mission call today! Whilst on gchat she informed me she had gotten her mission call and she was opening it 30 minutes from that point. Sir Luke swiftly told her about the site Ustream.tv which allows a person to stream video live. So we would be able to watch from the Vegas.
4 different phone calls on speaker, 3 different people watching via usteam.tv, 1 great missionary moment!
Mission call opening went as follows:
Excited about streaming her mission call video across the country.
Opens call to find she is going to ST. LOUIS, MO on April 16, 2008!!!!
Looking at the mission Prez, Milton Stuart and Shirlene Kay Payne Turley
Aghast at the clothes she will soon have to sport every single day of her life for the next eighteen months!
Congrats, Little-Lisa! You will be an amazing gift to everyone in St. Louis. I know you will find people who are ready to hear the word of God. You are amazing! YAY!
Mr. Sniffles
“Mami’s mother got shot.”
“What?”
“Mami’s mother got shot.”
“Whose mother?”
“Mami!”
“Who’s Mami?”
(rolls eyes)
“BAMBI!”
Oops, sorry Sir Luke!
Special Guests
Last weekend our fine friends the Kimballs came by for a little Guitar Hero session. They came down to Vegas with some friends and got a tad bit overwhelmed with wandering the Strip for six hours. We rescued them from outside the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay.
A couch and cookies were a welcomed treat for our weary travelers.
Soon we busted out the HERO! Below you will see Capree ripping it up.
Brady busts a move whilst Pee shreds
Brady was also pretty intense, I couldn’t believe his skills on the Hero
Sir Luke and I could only sit back in awe of the Kimball wonder
It was a splendid evening. Come back soon!
