23 YEARS

Well, my birthday was last Wednesday. It was pretty good. Had some people over for some Dinosaur BBQ.

Ann made me a carrot cake, my fave, to look like a present with candied carrot strips as the ribbons. They were surprisingly tasty!

Got some nice gifts. The most interesting being the pair of undies that Richard and Christina picked out…the criteria I gave Christina was “red and pretty.” All I have to say is be careful what you ask for with that one.

Richard brought cupcakes to share!

And the best part was the card that Becca made me…no words, not a single word.

A New Day, A New Job, A New Life

I finished my first full week as the studio manager for Judd Pilossof, Inc. Judd is a Food and Still Life photographer.

It has become apparent that I will gain 100 pounds at this job if I don’t get a gym membership. In the past two days I’ve eaten clams, mussels, chateau briand steak, corn on the cob, ice cream sandwiches, cakes, cookies, etc. This was all part of shoot for Dean and Deluca‘s summer catalogue. It has been completely insane shooting 13 shots a day but the energy has been really great. I will admit it’s hard to be thrown into a situation and trying to find my proper place but I think I’m doing well so far.
