Advent
This is what I’m working on right now.
I promise it’s not actually backwards, that’s just iPhotobooth for you.
Don’t worry I’m not forgetting about the headboard. Real photos tomorrow, I promise.
How To: DIY Pendant Lights
NOTICE: The video is working again!
Moving into a new house is expensive, not just because we bought it but because of all the stuff we have to get for it. I’d been pining for a few pendant lamps for a while but with a budget of almost nothing and needing three lights, a $200/light purchase was not going to work.
I found a sweet light idea in Do It Yourself Magazine by Better Homes and Gardens. My mom forked over her Mason Ball Jars in blue and Sir Luke and I got to work.
Watch the How To: Video to learn how to make your own and install them! Just a reminder Sir Luke is an electrician so please hire one if you want to do the second half of the tutorial.

Kiersten & Andrew: Married! Salt Lake Wedding Photographer
I first met Kiersten six or seven years ago, she’s Britta‘s younger sister. She is a crazy awesome soccer player turned nurse. Yep, she’s rad. Also, she is tanner on her least tan day then all the tanning I could ever do combined. She’s a babe.
I met Andrew at Libby and Russel’s wedding a couple months ago and knew they were the perfect match. Such a fun couple. It was a pleasure to be there for their wedding day!
Want to book your wedding with, super fun, me? I would LOVE it! You can view the entire event here.
Homer Family / Utah Family Photographer
Tianna and I used to work in the dungeon of the Harold B. Lee Library at BYU. The dark, windowless room made us all nutty, I’m certain. Tianna and her husband, BJ, just had their first baby, Kessa, four months ago. While we were in UT we got the chance to photograph Kessa and her family.
They were a blast! You can view the entire event here.
Shupe Family
Shawn and Nichole used to live here in Vegas but recently abandoned us for a more lush desert, Utah. Although we were super sad to see them go it was great to visit them in their new home, plus we got to do their family photos in a corn field.
Their son, Dillon, wasn’t super into it in the beginning but after a game of peek-a-boo from behind the camera and a tickle fight he was ready to go!
Thanks for the fun times Shawn and Nichole! You can view the entire event here.
