Flower Scapes

I’m working on a new series of pieces to sell on Etsy. My shop has been empty for quite some time now. I think I was trying to do something that isn’t me. I like collages but it doesn’t mean I’m any good at them.

I bought these flowers a couple weeks ago at the grocery store so I could photograph them. I bought some that were still partially closed so I had some time to photograph them. Unfortunately, these sunflowers didn’t ever get very sunny so I let them dry up. I think I’m happy with the outcome.

I need more color 4×5 Polaroid, and fast. This stuff is going going gone.

While Sir Luke was gone last week my parents came to town. My mother brought up the chair we started and we finished it!

What do you think?

Now we need a rug to bring the whole room together. Any thoughts?
