EMPLOYED!

As of last Wednesday I have a job. YES! My first day is tomorrow and I am really excited. I’ve been dieing to be productive in a place other than the house. It comes at the perfect time because we’ve pretty much finished doing what we can with it until we get more shelving, which means more money. And since a job means income, it’s perfect.

You may be wondering what it is that I will be doing. And although I’m not exactly sure about the day to day I will be the assistant to the head of production that produces the photographic artwork for Peter Lik‘s photo galleries around the world. There are three here in Las Vegas and several in other parts of the country. Peter shoots panoramic landscapes with intense color and light. I will be overseeing the workflow of the pieces. All the way from negative to shipping. I’m so glad to be staying in the industry and getting a new perspective on the photography industry. I think it’s a photographer’s dream come true to have his/her work in galleries across the globe and selling like hotcakes. If only I could be so lucky. I’ll just continue shooting.
