Happy Mother’s Day

I think this is the most posts I’ve ever made at one time…good heavens! But, my mother could not be left out of this one.

She is one of the most inspirational women I know. She moved out of a small farm town when she was 17 and went to a business college in Denver without knowing anyone. She married when she was 19, had two kids and was a single mother by the time she was 23. She raised her children, and step children, started two businesses, and was recognized as Woman Inventor of the Year in 2001.

She is a tough cookie and I am lucky to have her as an example in my life.

I love you mom!

    Hey Meg,
This was a great Mother’s Day card and I didn’t read it until last night when your dad showed it to me. You are the greatest – you amaze me with your talents and “strike out on your own” attitude – must have inherited it from someone!!

I’ve been sewing for the last 24 hours (well not quite that long) – check your email to see what I created. Busy is the word here – as usual.

    You have a great day,
    Love, Mom
