Who are kids these days?
I had my first casting yesterday. In case you don’t know what a casting is, think “beautiful” people showing up, writing their name on a piece of paper and holding it up for a mug shot. Then our client gets to decide who wins and gets to be in the cough suppressant ad. And if you’re wondering why a food photographer is shooting people…I don’t have an answer.
But here are a couple goodies from yesterday.
Boy #1
Mom #1, “what do you say to the photographer?”
Boy #1, “thanks!”
Mom #1, “and what do you give her?” nods toward me
Boy #1, turns and winks at me
Boy #2
Boy #2, “here’s a dollar!”
Me, “don’t you want to buy something with your dollar.”
Boy #2, “no, you should have it, I’ve got a million.”
(later, mom #2 emerges from the restroom)
Me, “you’re son gave me a dollar…”
Mom #2, “oh, haha.” and takes dollar back.
(later, boy #2 comes running back from the elevator)
boy #2, “your dollar!” and runs away
too cute
Cute kids — is #2 trying to bribe the office manager?
