Display Thursday – Frameless

I’ve taken much too long a break from Display Thursday so I thought I’d get back in it with some frameless displays. We all know how expensive frames can be. Or perhaps it’s just not the look you have in your home. Check out these options and tell me what frameless display inspires you.

I didn’t even realize there were frames on these images until I read the blog post! They’re those lass clip frames you can find at places like Michael’s or IKEA. This size is no longer available at IKEA but is available at a 20×20 size. Love that the image is the main focal point and the grouping is fantastic!

Use clipboards to showcase photos! This is another great way to swap out kids artwork or photographs in a child’s room. I’d take it a step further and Mod Podge some colored paper on the actual clip board that coordinated with the room. A little color never hurt anyone!

Getting canvas gallery wraps allows you to display your images in a modern way without frames. They make a huge statement in a large grouping like this one. The two large horizontal images are 20×30 and the smaller pieces are all 16x20s. My best tip is to measure out the wall space you want to fill then you can gauge how many pieces you want to fill the space or how large one statement piece should be.

So are you more traditional or could you go for one of these frameless options?

Nice idea. As a photographer myself I’m always looking for a new way to present larger prints.
