Display Thursday – Top to Bottom

Well, it’s been a while since I posted a Display Thursday edition and that is just a crime! Today I’m featuring photos from floor to ceiling. Collecting frames large and small and putting them together can cover a wall right quick.

Go for the monochromatic look with all black frames and white mats with black and white photographs. It’s perfect for this black and white bedroom.

I Love the idea of images crawling up a wall like in this art installation by Monur in Demark. It’s as though each image is trying to vie for the spot in the frame on the wall. Beautiful no? This could easily be achieved with vary small sizes of images and rotated out over time. Even added to! Plus you’d have a stellar piece of art in your house!

I love the simple line of photographs climbing up this narrow strip of wall. It totally gives height to the room. The varying sizes add some dimension and keep the eye moving. I just might have to do this myself!

There are tons of options for top to bottom photographic displays. Don’t be afraid to experiment!
