Sir Luke and I went down to California over Memorial Day Weekend. We drove in form Las Vegas Saturday morning and went straight to the Getty. They have some stellar exhibits there right now. The Becher photographs were wonderful to see in person. I would love to have a set someday. The Sander portraits were really stunning. There was also a pretty awesome video exhibit. As usual I gravitated toward the less obscure like Wegmen and his dog Man Ray.
We had a grand time. I forget how much I miss California until I go. I really love trees and hills. Vegas isn’t the place for either of those things. Maybe someday we’ll be able to go back. But for now I can enjoy the view.
I really want to figure out what this succulent is, above (Thanks T!) for our yard. If you have any ideas let me know.
Do you mean the plant above or below? Cuz if you mean above… it’s a succulent. Though, I’m not sure exactly what succulent. But that should narrow it down anyway.

I love that place!!! It’s amazing! Was it chilly that day…you all have jackets on.
I think the black succulent is Echeveria ‘Black Prince’.
