In the Bedroom

Our bedroom has taken a backseat to decorating. We haven’t had the money to really spruce it up. But I have some ideas that have been stewing in my noggin for quite some time.

This headboard has been on my mind and is usually the thing I always say I’m going to do next, but it never quite makes it to fruition.

And I want to get wall sconces for each side of the bed too. I’m digging these.

1. Swing Arm Lamp
2. Bubble Ball Wall Sconce
3. Antler Wall Sconce RAD!
4. Stacked Ball Murano Lamps I’m definitely interested in table lamps too.

Luckily for us our hermit neighbors left a bunch of their stuff in their driveway for a week and it was up for the taking. Thank heavens the night stands were hidden under some weird piece of wood and no one else saw their awesomeness. they remind me of danish design from the 50s or 60s. The detailing on the feet is great too.

I really love them and I can’t wait to make them over! I’ll be painting them or sanding and staining. Unfortunately one of the knobs on one of the drawers is missing (I really like the knobs), which means I’ll have to choose new ones.

Really, who doesn’t like to find new knobs? These are a few I have my eye on at Anthropologie.

1. Oblong Aster Knob
2. Medaglione Knob
3. Mother of Pearl Knob

That place in the pictures looks really familiar. I swear I’ve been there before…
