Katie & Ryan’s Album

It’s been quite a few months since I sent off this album to Katie and Ryan but I am finally getting around to sharing it with you! I was able to rush the book so that Katie could have it in time for her short visit with her hubby in England, where he is stationed in the United States Air Force. I was so happy that they were both so pleased with the album.

Katie and Ryan chose orange and silver for their wedding colors, which seemed a little wild at first but let me tell you it was the most beautiful combination of warm and cool colors. I continued the color palette through in the design on the pages and the cover color. Love me some ostrich. So classic and edgy and the same time. And the album was featured on Design Aglow! Sweet!

One of my biggest regrets in my wedding photography package was not getting an album included. Mainly due to the fact that I still do not have a wedding album. I’d love to be able to have one I could flip through on anniversaries or Valentine’s Day or just whenever I need a little love boost. I fully recommend ordering one so you don’t ever have to worry about it. Just pick your favorite photos and I’ll tell your story.

WOW! Megan, this is gorgeous! And I love how THICK it is! Can I ask you where you print your albums? Or do you have experience with multiple photobook/album printers to share? I’ve used blurb and it’s been fine, but not luscious like this looks. I just ordered one from MyPublisher, but I haven’t received it yet.

I use Finao because it’s super customizable. You need to be a designer or photographer to use them. I love the “Cinderella” book quality to them. You make all the layouts in InDesign or Photoshop. You don’t have to know anything about making albums. I used to use blurb but was super unhappy with the print quality for my photos.
