The BEST

This is my favorite picture of the day.

Sorry, Keri and Juliet, I know it’s not the most flattering, but I can’t help but smile every time I look at it!

Thanks for a fabulous day!

Disneyland for my 25th!

Posted on Mar 4, 2009

Considering Disneyland was letting birthday celebrators in for FREE during 2009 I thought it would be an amazing place to celebrate my quarter-life-crisis. Sir Luke was working and couldn’t attend so I rounded up some hometown friends/family for the party.

I couldn’t have imagined better weather or better company. It was a truly wonderful day. I love all the new additions that Disneyland has done. It’s still reminiscent of my childhood with new excitement too! I’m so glad I lugged around my camera and two lenses. It was totally worth it. I love these photographs

You should definitely consider going this year.

Keri J

I’ve known this hot mama since we were under two years old. She’s been with me through thick and thin and I love her to bits. When I went down to California last week she accompanied me on a trip out to Paramount Ranch for a little photo shoot.

I’ve been dieing to get back out there for a while now and I’m so glad we went. The weather was unbelievable and the scenery is perfect. It definitely brought me back to my childhood, touring around with visiting relatives to the set of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. I used to LOVE that show when I was a kid. Oh, that Jane Seymour.

Keri was a stunning model. I love you K.J.!

Future Me

Posted on Mar 2, 2009

In October 2007 I came across a site called futureme.org. I decided to write myself a letter to arrive on my 25th birthday. I had forgotten about it until I came home from Disneyland to find an email, from myself, in my inbox.

Thankfully the majority of the questions and hopes I had for myself back then are true or becoming a reality. I really like the concept and I hope to write myself letters more in the future. I suggest it. It’s a great way to keep yourself in check.

They also recently released a book featuring the best anonymous letters. You can find it here.

Give it a try, even if it’s only for a month from now.

Homework

Posted on Feb 23, 2009

Well, not my homework, but homework none the less.

Jenna needed help filming and editing an assignment for her technology class. Sir Luke did the filming, Jenna and Steven were the fabulous actors and I did a little editing. Steven cracks me up.

So, what do you think? Should we go into the How To: Video business?

Sorry Jenna! I couldn’t help it, I had so much fun. I forgot how much I love editing. You can see a bunch of my silly videos from a couple years ago here. I think I’m going to try and convince Sir Luke to make more shorts with me.

What do you think?
