Facebook Fan Pages

Posted on Nov 6, 2008

I’m not sure how successful my fan page will be but I decided it was finally time to put Facebook to some good use. I made up a page for my business, Megan Ruth Stay Photography.

Go and check it out and become a FAN! Pass it along and tell your friends. Let me know if you have any suggestions or would like more info. The feedback would be great.

I’d love to do a shoot for you in the future!

Carry On

The Keep Calm Gallery has been selling these “Keep Calm, Carry On” posters for a while now.

But on Monday Threadless released a new t-shirt with a slightly different mantra. I think my responses in stressful situations is a little more in line with Threadless than Keep Calm, unfortunately.

Now Panic and Freak Out - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

And in case you weren’t sure if this was rad enough, check out Ron Weasley.

I got to vote early last Thursday. Thanks Nevada! It was actually my first time voting. I was too young eight years ago and four years ago I didn’t feel like I had a choice I could endorse. No, not the most responsible thing to do. So that’s why I’m shouting at you.

Happy Halloween!

I did end up dressing up as a Guitar Hero for Trunk or Treat. Unfortunately, I didn’t get anyone to take my picture. I just took lots of other ones.

Pinewood Derby

As most of you are aware, I am a den mother for the Webelos in my ward. It’s been interesting and fun. Most of the time I don’t want to go but as soon as I’m there I have a blast. I think it’s the pressure of being entertaining and educational. Badges are serious business!

Last Saturday was the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. Having never been to one I didn’t really know what to expect. This one was much more high tech than anything Sir Luke had ever seen. It lasted about 10 minutes because there was a computer rigged to the end block. I think everyone was surprised.
