Sir Luke and I have begun fighting over Quiksilver watches.

Check Yes or No

Nicki Six blogged about the great ice cream debate. I really like this website. Anyone can ask a question. I even asked a question about my blog!

Enjoy!

The Word is On Your Lips!

My new favorite band is ALPHABEAT! They’re happy and from Denmark, just like Junior Senior. Sir Luke posted about them last week on Favorite Video Friday.

I am now officially in love. I’m pretty sure Amy Lee would love them, if she hasn’t discovered them already. They have great videos. Fascination is amazing! I want to be in that band right this second.

This is Boyfriend.

Christmas in May?

Posted on May 22, 2008

Is it weird that I’m already beginning to think about Christmas cards? I can’t help it. We’re almost done sending out all of our thank you cards and it’s gotten me thinking about what we’ll do for the holiday season. I’m interested to see how Christmas in Vegas compares to Christmas in New York. Seems like it has some tough competition.

I came across domestikate‘s shop on Etsy. You can actually buy a subscription to her and her husband’s Christmas card list. Their past photos are pretty amusing. She’s got some great vintage finds in her shop as well.

I found Tengu on Charles and Marie.

I want him to be friends with my computer!

Clocking In

Posted on May 20, 2008

Sir Luke‘s birthday is coming up in a couple weeks. I’ve been thinking about gifts for a while now. Being poor doesn’t exactly work in my favor but I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve that I think he’ll enjoy.

There are a few things a person doesn’t want to get on his birthday. One of which is a new alarm clock. I hate Sir Luke’s alarm clock. The batteries are taped on and it’s on my side of the bed. I like it because it’s easy to read in my slumbery stupor when I hit snooze on my cell phone alarm. But other than that it’s ugly and loud.

You wouldn’t believe how many hideous alarm clocks there are out there. I don’t care how genius it is the rolling alarm clock is unattractive.

But here are a couple I like:

The Moonbeam

Fred-O-Vision (totally silly but somehow I still love it)

This Clapboard would be more for Sir Luke’s office than our bedroom, but awesome none the less.

This Sony clock radio is nice but it seems huge.
