Babies

Posted on Oct 13, 2008

Sir Luke and I are still a ways off on having any babies. But with the new campaign for some VW vehicle we can see what our children would potentially look like.

I’m pretty sure after this we’ll never procreate.

That was a joke. Someday we’ll procreate.

Bruderers

On Sunday morning last week while on our adventure in Utah I made an appointment to photograph the Bruderers. They live in an adorable development in South Jordan, UT called Daybreak. The new Oquirrh Mountain Temple is being built at the end of their street. It is lovely.

We wandered around the neighborhood and got some really great shots of their new family.

I love the Bruderers! You can view all of their family photos on my Instaproofs site, here.

Scott and his wife Lauren surprised Lauren’s family in Utah and decided to have a family portrait taken. It was an interesting shoot to say the least.

Some great shots of their extended family. Fabulous!

You can view the entire day’s photographs on my Instaproofs site, here.

I’ve been trying to find more to contribute to my natural vs. man series. But while we were in Utah one found me.

Faber Films

Sir Luke is making a short film. It’s a boy meets girl story with a nemesis that is carried out in three genres, musical, western, and action. He went to Utah a week before I did so he could get everything ready for the shoot that would be taking place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

I flew up Friday night, late, and worked with him and crew on Saturday. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do during the shoot but I ended up wearing a few hats: actress, assistant director, still photographer, and continuity supervisor. It was a lot of fun. Sir Luke had everything planned out so each shot was worked out ahead of time.

I have to say that the songs written for the musical by our friend Stephen were fabulous. He did a great job, and on short notice. I know some talented people for sure.

Sir Luke’s brother Ben played “Guy.” Ben’s wife Rebekah played “Girl.” And “Nemesis” was played by our friend Scott. It was all magic. Unfortunately I didn’t really get a photo of our “Guy.”
